Guest speaker : Dimitra Zina
For the past 6 years she has been the label manager/A&R of Piranha Records & Publishing, based in Berlin. After studying Business Administration and Marketing at the Athens University of Economics and Business, Dimitra gained her first professional experience at the Institute of Music and Acoustics Research (IEMA) in Athens and later as a marketing associate in a Greek start-up.
She then moved to Berlin and joined Piranha – an independent label and publishing house in existence since 1987, and one of the most important players on the world music scene with over 160 releases and 1200 compositions from Africa, Asia, America and Europe.
En dehors de son poste principal chez Piranha Records, Dimitra a été impliquée dans la scène musicale en tant que promotrice indépendante et cheffe de projet pour des sociétés telles que Strut Records au Royaume-Uni, WOMEX (The Worldwide Music Expo), AL.Berlin et bien d’autres.
